London TMJ Centre has been providing professional and effective treatment for TMJ conditions since 2013. We focus on developing optimal, non invasive TMJ treatment. Unlike many alternatives, we will not give you a splint or offer extensive surgery. We aim to tell you why you developed your TMJ condition and how you can resolve it or improve it.
Many TMJ conditions are associated with degeneration of the jaw joint, leading to discomfort, muscle spasm, joint creaking and in more advanced stages locking and facial asymmetry. TMJ degeneration can be caused by a number of factors and we find that TMJ degeneration is a result of poor neck, head and jaw alignment. These can be corrected with appropriate TMJ treatment.
Our approach to TMJ treatment, through TMJ physiotherapy combined with concepts adapted from orthotropics, can be highly effective.
